The Historic Preservation Foundation was originally founded in a direct response to the proposed demolition of the Chicago, St. Paul, Minneapolis and Omaha Railroad Depot located at 324 Putnam Street, just to the north of Wisconsin Street in Eau Claire. Forgotten and left to sit vacant, the bid to save and restore the building was unsuccessful and the depot was destroyed in 1987. Unfortunately, its mark on Eau Claire can never be replaced.

A friendly family campground with spacious, open, and shaded sites on a rolling terrain. Open May 1st through October 15th. Pets are welcome, but must be kept on a leash and cleaned up after.
